Interview with “The Black Swan”

Q: “Tell us a bit about yourself, where you come from and what your motivations are?” A: “Well, I'm from the United Kingdom, but I have moved to the US to compete on global level around 2006. I have worked in a couple of promotions, won some titles and made a lasting impression on my opponents. My main motivation has always been, to inflict as much physical as well as mental pain to my opponents, may it be inside or outside of the ring. To be honest, I am still finding new methods to inflict pain on my opposition. You really never stop learning, … hahah!” Q: “Where did u learn to wrestle? Who was your trainer? “ A: “I learned to wrestle at the Storm Pro Wrestling School and I was trained by the greatest heel in the wrestling business Robert Storm himself.” Q: “What is your wrestling style?” A: “It's a hybrid style of striking, brawling and hardcore. A combination of all my favourite styles from growing up until to this day even.” Q: “What a...

Interview with Buck of the VFW

Q: ”Tell us a bit about yourself, where you come from and what your motivations are?” A: ”What motivates me is simply, competition. Whomever comes out from the back, I consider a challenge, which is why I'm always ready. I was born and raised in the Mighty Redwood Forest and life was based on survival. Deer hunting was a sport from Humans, which attempted to take out our kind. It wasn't much of a fun time if you can't tell. We were hunted seasonally in which our parents had to fight for us. We couldn't move because there wasn't any place to move to.” Q: ”Was that a reason why you got into the wrestling business? To raise awareness for your kind?” A: ”You can say that. I have no grudge against the sport of hunting, what I do dislike is the lack of awareness of that sport. Some even paying to get our heads as trophies. Luckily we have a calmed mindset when we look into these kind of things.” “What did got me into the door however was th...

Interview with “The Gunslinger” Matt Asadar

Image
Q: ”Tell us a bit about yourself, where you come from and what your motivations are?” A: ”Well that's a tad bit of a loaded question. First off my name's Matt Asadar, some know me as "The Gunslinger." Where I come from, that can be a bit of a long story. Short answer is nowhere really. Been on my own since I was about 10. Had a nice family, a nice farm to live on. But one day all that was taken from me and I lost everyone I knew and loved. Since then I've just been wandering around. If I had to say one thing that motivates me it would be the memories of my family. The things they taught me. To work hard, do things right, don't look for the easy way out. I take those words with me into every match.” Q: “The day you are referring to was as Austin Knight bought your farm and animals? Is that correct?” A: “Actually no, I was referring to a back, when i was just a young boy. But since you bring up Austin. You can see where the things he...

Interview with Erick Edwards

Q: ”Good Evening Mr. Edwards. Would you please so kind to tell us a bit about yourself, where you come from and what your motivations are?” A: ”I am a very busy man... successful business do not run themselves you know.... but I can spare a few moments. I am sure that Drake told you that we grew up in Ohio... where I excelled at everything I ever did. When I say I am the "Greatness": it is not bragging... it is truth.” Q: ”Speaking of successful business, why did get into the wrestling business? I am sure there are other businesses, where you could make more money as in professional wrestling. ” A: ”Yes that is true, but believe it or not, I am a fan. I have done various other ventures. But they bored me. I then watched as Drake kept going from indy promotion to indy promotion trying to get in. I saw how popular wrestling was becoming. I had a chance to help a fed with accounting, among my athletic achievements, I am a certified public account. And go...

Interview with Drake Edwards

Q: ”Tell us a bit about yourself, where you come from and what your motivations are?” A: ”Hey Lyria thanks for the opportunity to speak with you. I along with my twin brother grew up in Ohio. We both played sports in school. Mainly baseball and football. I was one of the smaller guys at my school, was told... you got the heart but not the size. Something I have been told all my life. As for motivations, it sounds cliche and maybe it is, but it is not the size of the dog in the fight, but the size of the heart in the dog. Basiclly you tell me I can't do something, I will accept the challenge.” Q: ”What inspired you to get into the wrestling business?” A: ”I grew up watching wrestling and was in love instantly. I went around to several indy promotions wanting to get trained.. I wanted to do this! I had several doors slammed in my face with people laughing at me.. You are not big enough... you will get killed... I was close to giving up, but one fed brought me in ...

Q: ”Tell us a bit about yourself, where you come from and what your motivations are?” A: ”I was born and raised in New York City, specifically in da Bronx! My parents are from Puerto Rico, and they always taught me that America is where dreams come true, if you're willing to put in the hard work. So I put everything I got there in the wrestling ring, and even if I lose I am still standing proud, and ready to fight another day!” Q: ”What inspired you to get into the wrestling business?” A: ”My mama wanted to be all lady-like and take ballet and stuff, but that's not my thing. I have more fun wrasslin' an ain't afraid to get a few bruises or a black eye. It's a badge of honor!” Q: “Was was your mothers reaction as you told her that you want to persuade such a dangerous and violent career?” A: laughs, "She was horrified. But I like hitting the gym more than the salon. And I really like hitting other people!" Grins, "She taught ...

Interview with Dave Wyatt from HCW

Image
Q: ”Tell us a bit about yourself, where you come from and what your motivations are?” A: ”Well, I was born in the woods near New Hampshire. My brother Bray basically raised me and we want through thick and thin. He always looked out for me the same way I looked out for him. But as I grow older and become I man, I wanted to do my own thing. I wanted to find my own path in life and I choose Professional Wrestling in the end. I also know back then, that there are going to be many new challenges waiting for me on that path. Might even be the case that I have to hurt people, who get in my way of becoming the Top Dog in this Business.” Q: ”What inspired you to get into the wrestling business?” A: ”There were many reasons for me to become a professional wrestler, but these are not important for anybody, beside me. The important thing is, that nobody in HCW is safe in any shape of form from Dave Wyatt. I lost my Hardcore Title to some new jackass named Texas Outlaw and ...
