Interview with “The Black Swan”

Q: “Tell us a bit about yourself, where you come from and what your motivations are?”

A: “Well, I'm from the United Kingdom, but I have moved to the US to compete on global level around 2006. I have worked in a couple of promotions, won some titles and made a lasting impression on my opponents. My main motivation has always been, to inflict as much physical as well as mental pain to my opponents, may it be inside or outside of the ring. To be honest, I am still finding new methods to inflict pain on my opposition. You really never stop learning, … hahah!”

Q: “Where did u learn to wrestle? Who was your trainer? “

A: “I learned to wrestle at the Storm Pro Wrestling School and I was trained by the greatest heel in the wrestling business Robert Storm himself.”

Q: “What is your wrestling style?”

A: “It's a hybrid style of striking, brawling and hardcore. A combination of all my favourite styles from growing up until to this day even.”

Q: “What are your signature moves and/or your finishers?”

A: “My signature that I use is called the “Cry of the Swan” and it is a Top Spinning Elbowdrop to the exposed throat of my opponent. My finisher is the “Original Swan Lake Destroyer”, which is a Snapmare Driver.”

Q: “What's your entrance music? Why did you choose it?”

A: "My entrance music is "What have you done" by Within Temptation. I chose it as it fits "The Black Swan" and to anger that loser that thinks she is the Black Swan ...

Q: “Who would you like to wrestle in the business? Why?”

A: “I would love to wrestle this fake swan that is running around in SL these days! The reason why? Because every time I see her come out, call herself the Black Swan, I need to throw up. I would gladly end her career and show the world that the imitation can never beat the Original.”

Q: “What is your most cherished moment of your career so far?”

A: “I would have to say, beating up my opponents to keep hold on a title that was made for Losers like the fake Black Swan, by being dominant and sadistic as much as possible. It was a great moment for myself, but to me being the most successful champion and having to build up the importance of the championship was huge for me, and I loved that opportunity.”

Q: “What advice would you give other just starting out in the business?”

A:”Don't fear the pain. I know there's times where u think u can't get go anymore, when the pain is too much, trust me I've been there. You need to pull through, embrace the pain, focus yourself and dish out twice as much pain and suffering to your opponent. Oh … and secondly be yourself and have fun!”

Quick Q&A Round:

Q: “Favourite Male Wrestler”
A: “Mad Mike”

Q: “Favourite Female Wrestler”
A: “Katheryn Blackadder, Paula Wilcox and Misaki Yumako”

Q: “Favourite Theme Song”
A: “Katheryn's old theme “Wicket Pussycat” by Danzig because I love the band”

Q: “Favourite Finisher”
A: “Ah, Mike is gonna kill me for this! I loved Mad Mike's finisher, I can't remember the name, he's gonna kill me haha.”

Q: “Favourite Opponent”
A: “Katheryn Blackadder and Paula Wilcox are tied for that.”

Q: “Greatest of all time? (female or male)”
A: ”Mad Mike, Paula, Katheryn, and someone who I feel was highly underrated Jessie Blair.”

Q: “Any last words for the fans?”
A: “Thank you for nothing, especially as I was taking a huge risk to return to the US Wrestling Scene after being labeled too unstable, too violent. Without you guys, I would be in one of this big leagues, getting booed for being too talented, too violent and even thought I might like that … It is better for these folks that consider themselves wrestlers these days.
