Interview with “The Tomahawk” Henry Parker

Q: “Tell us a bit about yourself, where you come from and what your motivations are?”
A: “I was born in Cleveland, Ohio. My parents never let me embrace my true Native American heritage when I was younger, so when I joined the business I decided to go against what they wanted, and be myself. It's not their life, it's mine. My father left me when I was about five, and started a new family in Hollywood, changed his last name to Brady too. Which shows how much he didn't want to be a part of my life. I'm motivated by the people that don't like me, as I've been my entire life.”

Q: Where did you learn to wrestle? Who was your trainer?”
A: “People aren't going to believe me, but I was self-trained. I learned by playing with the HUDS in my spare time, and got experience as I wrestled match after match. If there was someone I could give credit to, I would, but there isn't.”

Q: “What inspired you to get into the wrestling business?”
A: “I enjoyed the stories that each individual had. Some wrestlers had larger than life personalities, various attires that the audience enjoyed, and as a kid that's something you gravitate towards. I wanted to be just like that, and now I am.”

Q: “What is your wrestling style?”
A: “I'm a bit unorthodox, it varies each week. Being perhaps the smallest guy in wrestling or one of the smallest, I change it up depending on my opponent. I'm mostly a high-flyer, with some striking in there. A little bit of everything.”

Q: “What are your signature moves and/or your finishers?”
A: “I have two finishers at the moment, the Standing Shining Wizard which I'm yet to give a proper name to, and the Ace Crusher, called the "Head Hunter," thanks to Lyra.”

Q: “What’s your entrance music? Why did you choose it?”
A: “My entrance music is A Tribe Called Red - Electric Pow Wow Drum. I chose it because I've always been a fan of loud introductions to songs, that can capture anyone's attention. Then to hear the screams, it's just like my loud and obnoxious ring personality. I've had it since I've started, and it's become a big part of me, and what I stand for.”

Q: “You were at the top of the mountain as the DCWF World Champion, why did you decide to leave to join VAW?”
A: “With all due respect to the DCWF, even being at the top of the mountain, and everything that I've earned, it just didn't feel right to me. Just as anyone else would, if something doesn't feel right, nobody should stay in an uncomfortable situation. I vacated the DCWF World Heavyweight Championship, and now I'm in VAW. I look to stay in Virtual Attitude Wrestling for a very long time, and cement my legacy here too. There are a lot of great names such as Trey Steele-Legendary, Pasta, 'OMEGA' and a bunch of other guys and girls that work very hard, and are good at what they do. There's a very good chance that I might just retire here after I've accomplished what I hope to accomplish, but that won't be for a long time. Come watch me work.”

Q: “Your half-brother Kian Brady is part of VAW as well. How is your relationship with him?”
A: “This Saturday at VAW Elite's FPV, 'Whiteout' I look to end his career. Ever since I was a child, I sat back and watched as he grew into wealth, while I was suffering with my Mother trying to become the man of the house at a young age. He's the reason why I'm a little rattled in the head, and he'll pay for it. As far as I see it, we're not family anymore.”

Q: “Now that “The Culture” has made its debut at VAW and you became the living proof that you can't keep a hard working man down . What have you to say to the fans, the wrestlers and everyone who has ever doubted you?”
A: “Thank you. Thank you for trying to kick me while I was down. Thank you for trying to assume that you know 'The Tomahawk' Henry Parker, better than I know 'The Tomahawk' Henry Parker. At the end of the day, I'll still be the biggest male name that this industry has ever seen. Get on board with it now, or choke on the dust.”
